Our Story
AAA Vending began as a mother‑daughter vision rooted in family, community, and the belief that food is fuel—and food is an act of self‑love. I’m Amber Crume, a clinical social worker and mom, and alongside my mother, Kymberly, we’ve built this women‑owned business to bring better snacking to Los Angeles parks, schools, and neighborhoods.

For years, my work in South Los Angeles taught me how food scarcity deepens stress and undermines wellness. At USC’s School of Social Work, I learned to assess and advocate for communities facing systemic barriers. I volunteered at local food banks, led nutrition workshops for families, and helped design outreach programs that placed healthy eating front and center. Those experiences made it clear: when families and kids don’t have quick access to wholesome, energizing snacks, they miss out on the very fuel they need to thrive.

As a mom, I’ve watched my own children grow through summer camps, after‑school sports, and weekend rec leagues. We spent countless afternoons on the sidelines cheering them on—and every time hunger hit, all we could find were chips, candy, or sugary drinks. It felt like a disconnect: these parks and programs fueled growth and confidence, yet offered nothing but empty calories in return.
AAA Vending is our way of closing that gap. We place smart, sturdy vending machines stocked with low‑sugar energy bites, hydration packs, protein bars, and fresh‑inspired snacks—the same kind of fuel dietitians and athletes trust, now sized and priced for families. We partner directly with park directors and school leaders to tailor our offerings, and we proudly accept EBT to ensure every family has access.
